If you would like to start a study group please contact me by email and
I will help you get started by sending you a study group format and explain what basic
books you need.
Alternatively, if you are unable to join a study group locally you can undertake
the following weekly assignments to change your life in a more meaningful way and
the lives of those around you.
It is easy to be the leader of a study group. It takes 2-3 people to start and take turns in being the leader of the group at the 2 hour weekly meetings. Study groups evolved from 130 Readings given over an 11 year period to a dedicated group who comprised the first study group. If anyone would like the format of a typical study group meeting (and this is adaptable) just send an email for this. The Readings regard study group work as fundamental to personal growth and the experiences can be wonderful in the myriad ways they manifest. There are study groups meeting weekly all over the world and many hard-working, motivated people have translated the Search for God Books (and other “Cayce books”) into different languages.
One way to evolve is through changing negative to positive ways of thinking, and erasing those old often painful habits. Don’t give yourself time to have negative thoughts and study group work is a great way to work through this with like-minded people. There is one gem from Edgar Cayce on this particular topic “If we allow negative thinking of any kind in our lives we help it to grow’; we make it stronger. Even if we try to get rid of faults and failings by thinking of them a lot, we only reinforce them so it is far better to think, say and do something positive that is good and the faults will disappear of their own accord; there will be on food there on which they can feed.”
The following are suggestions for study groups and individuals who are interested in becoming involved in the process of getting to know ourselves. Accepting and loving yourself is as important as loving others, and once you are able to get the balance right, the process of loving others becomes so much easier. Here are some new assignments to help you:
